Battery Point Distillery 'Islay Cask' Various Size Samples

This ‘Islay Cask Matured’ Single Malt Whisky release is a blend of casks from two famous Islay Distilleries. Three 60-litre ex-Lagavulin barrels, and one 200-litre ex Laphroaig barrel were blended, then finished with a little Muscat cask for balance. Bottled at 57.57% abv, this release consists of 150 bottles.

Aromas of soft smoke and honey. Hints of earthy, spicy peat on the front palate, a touch of nougat and vanilla on the mid-palate, finishing with salted caramel.
